Each year Gartner -- the world’s leading information technology research and advisory company-- embarks upon the quest to find which innovative companies are leading the way in digital business. Their research and analysis is published in a collection of Gartner Cool Vendor Reports to recognize who’s intriguing and impactful in areas such as ‘Big Data’ and the ‘Internet of Things’. Gartner has announced that for 2015, Wibbitz was selected for its mobile app as one of five ‘Cool Vendors in Consumer Mobile Applications’ from around the world.
We’re honored to have such an esteemed research firm recognize Wibbitz for our advanced technology and power to engage consumers. The report states, "Technology innovation in mobile apps is on the rise as consumers demand new experiences and ways to communicate." The Wibbitz app was created to showcase our unique text-to-video technology and ability to engage consumers with video. Consumers are seeking out better experiences on mobile devices, and snackable video content has become the preferred option.

Gartner’s Cool Vendor Reports have evaluated many startups in the past that went on to become major success stories, including the Israeli mobile app Waze which was purchased by Google two years ago. Wibbitz was one of 18 Israeli companies recognized by Gartner in their Cool Vendor Reports for 2015, which is no surprise with the quantity of impressive tech startups that have poured out of Tel Aviv in recent years. Innovation news site, No Camels, cited Wibbitz in an article about the Israeli companies recognized by Gartner this year. Wibbitz was one of the five companies featured in the article that No Camels named as the ‘coolest’. Co-founder Yotam Cohen was proud to represent Wibbitz at the Gartner Cool Vendor event in Tel Aviv. Our mission at Wibbitz is to provide the most advanced video creation technology platform, and we’re thrilled that Gartner has recognized us as we carry out this mission.
