We’re excited to announce today that media technology giant Aol is working with Wibbitz to power automated video creation for its portfolio of brands, expanding on our existing video syndication relationship. Wibbitz joined the Aol.On network as a content provider earlier this year, contributing short-form, mobile-friendly videos created daily by our in-house Newsroom about breaking news and trending topics. Aol.On supports more than a billion video views each month, and Wibbitz has produced an average of 1,500 videos each month. In furtherance of its relationship with Wibbitz several of Aol’s publishing brands will leverage our Control Room platform to create automated video for desktop, mobile, and social.

Wibbitz’s editorial team will continue to create original video content for the Aol.On network, which includes publishers like Gannett, Salon, and The Weather Channel. Now, each editorial team within Aol-owned publications will have the opportunity to create their own fully-branded videos and leverage our industry-leading automation features to create social videos, listicle-style videos, and professionally narrated videos on a wide range of topics.
